Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification
These CPR & First Aid courses are 100% online and you only pay after you complete and pass the training. You can download and print your Certificate immediately upon paying for the course and you will receive a sturdy wallet card in the mail within 5-7 days. The trainings are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Therefore, you can receive the training when you are ready. You don't have to complete the course in one setting. You can do some one day and come back to where you left off at another time.
Courses are in English and Spanish.
Hands-on training can be included with your Certification, which is called “Blended Training”. You simply complete the online course and select “Blended” at checkout when you pay for the course. You can complete the hands-on portion one-on-one with a Skills Evaluator from the comfort of you home or office via a computer and webcam. Email any questions you may have regarding the Blended Training option.
ProPALS
$195.00 Initial Pediatric Advanced Life Support
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) includes a series of
algorithmic medical procedures and techniques designed for the urgent treatment
of respiratory emergencies, cardiac arrest and other life-threatening
situations. The course expands upon basic life support with more advanced
skills such as Electrocardiogram (ECG) rhythm interpretation for core PALS
rhythms, airway management and appropriate adjuncts, PALS drugs and
pharmacology, practical application of PALS rhythms and drugs, and effective
high-performance team skills for Basic Life Support and PALS. Many hospitals
and other medical facilities require this advanced training for anyone who may
work with pediatric cardiac patients.
This course is nationally accredited in joint partnership
with the Postgraduate Institution of Medicine. Upon course completion, you will
receive 8 CEU/CME credits.
Because good Pediatric Basic Life Support (BLS) skills are
foundational to PALS skills, a BLS certification is strongly encouraged, or in
most cases, a pre-requisite for taking the PALS certification. In addition,
participants who enter the ProPALS course are required to have already obtained
the basic knowledge and skills in Advanced Life Support.

ProBloodBorne
$29.95 Healthcare Bloodborne Pathogens
Bloodborne Pathogens Training is an OSHA mandated training program for any person who may be reasonably anticipated to face contact with blood and other potentially infectious materials as the result of performing their job duties. ProBloodborne is for individuals who must comply with OSHA standard 29 CFR 1910.1030. This course is aimed specifically at those in the healthcare industry.
All of our CPR courses have a blended option. With blended training, students complete the part 1 online course and then schedule a skill evaluation with one of our instructors to complete the part 2 skills check off. Once the instructor has confirmed a passing score, the student will receive his or her wallet card.
E-learning blended courses are fully accredited and replace a 4-6 hour classroom period with a 30-45 minute skill evaluation. Blended courses generally cost less than traditional classroom courses. Online courses can be transferred to a blended course simply by adding on a skill evaluation; no additional testing or training is required once the online course has been completed.
